Jack Gibbons' Annual Oxford Summer Piano Series
In the summer of 2025 Jack Gibbons returned to the historic university city of Oxford, England, for his 37th annual Oxford Summer Piano Series, a fixture of the Oxford calendar since its founding in the summer of 1988. His 2025 series of recitals was completely sold out, and included 8 recitals devoted to the music of Beethoven, Gershwin, Chopin, Debussy, Ravel and others, and in the final concert, a selection of Gibbons' own music along with audience requests. Jack Gibbons returns to Oxford for a Christmas concert
In response to many requests Jack Gibbons will be returning to Oxford again this Christmas to give a seasonal concert at the historic Holywell Music Room on Tuesday 16th December 2025. The programme will include Gibbons' acclaimed transcriptions of Gershwin's Rhapsody in Blue and Tchaikovsky's Nutcracker Suite, along with seasonal music by Brahms, Rachmaninoff, Mozart, Irving Berlin, Fats Waller & others, plus Gibbons' Preludio, a selection of his Helvetia carols, and his Fantasy on In Dulci Jubilo & Silent Night.
